I am going to cross
the ocean on plantain raft.

I am building a ladder
to go to heaven.
I am netting the wind
and kept it under my control
so long as I am alive.
I am enlarging my hands
to catch the sun,
see with your eyes.
I am not what you see me,
I am what you cannot imagine.
