Awards-Gujarat Sahitya Academy Sunday, August 23,2020 11: 12 AM I am for the readers And for promising writers The new poets daily post their creations And strengthen the relation Some fame-hungry groups manipulate Lure the poets by awarding fake certificates Which has, in fact, no relevance But they go on in their nefarious move Gujarat Sahitya Academy is in Gujarat And encourages culture and literature This is hijacked by Motivational strips That has lured present chairman, Vishnu Pandya, to sponsor through their groups This Motivational Strips manipulated it in league with Mr Vishnu Pandya Who not only tarnished the image by surrendering to narrow-minded groups Who cornered 130 award certificates for their members And thus altered the broad aim of strengthening the literature The motivational strip has issued truckloads of certificates It has thus assumed the role of a street hawker Who readily distributes certificates without an authority And thus try to gain the popularity The readers and poets may think their work is evaluated and thus awarded In fact, it is a mind product of the founder. M.S Who never lets a single opportunity to lure poets And later on, pass the buck to whoever opposes it Poets must think twice before accepting such awards And ask conscience whether have they worked for the cause!
