Friendship Day

I stand here and bow To all those who were with me to allow My heartiest feelings for friendship That was almost like a journey on ship How I wish to be with them all the times! That does not materialize sometimes Time and distance makes it difficult But foundation is laid and strongly built They have built a bridge With disregard to cast and age Younger or elder They have come so closer They rule my mind and heart May be it is divine art That pulls me near to their habits I grow nervous when time comes to greet I want to celebrate And frankly relate They have formed an alliance A bare thread known for reliance I wish to convey my deepest love And I strongly stand by and believe That bond has been built with full trust I am very much obliged with thrust Shall I say again with utmost sincerity? You are all my soul in friends given by almighty How to thank Him and feel relieved? Yes indeed, for whole life, I have believed
