I turned down her proposal As it needed quick disposal She was making it conditional Either “yes” or”no” was the option We loved compassionately It had grown more lately We knew it will be difficult To live without may amount as an insult I failed to understand logic behind I tried hard but failed to find What can be the urgency in matter? She told it will be disclosed later So many things matter in girl’s life It is considered as an edge of knife They have to look after their interest As well as other back ground to the best I had rural background with some reservation We believed in frankness but with limitation This was making her hesitant to withdraw Even though I had not failed her intention to draw Liberty and freedom for woman is essential It may draw some irritation initially Finally it ends up in compromise As life is wide and open with promises I left it to her wisdom I knew it will be turned down seldom But it was open to her freedom I extended all wishes including welcome
