A Crossing Of Paths

This journey
a crossing of many paths
some straight-narrow
others
wide and winding
with warning signs along
the way
a red light - stop
flashing yellow - caution
stalling the traffic
road signs a hindrance
sharp curves ahead
traveling onward
maturing
lessons learned
knowledge obtained
this journey
is a crossing of many paths
until the final light
turns green.
