Coronavirus Makes Our Days Extremely Sad And Difficult

The coronavirus continues to hit us very hard, to make us cry It has been over two weeks since our beloved friend left us Olga Oristel Cadet is gone. Her death was deemed natural We must not forget the level of stress, supernatural pressure That the sneaky COVID-19 imposes on our health, body and heart Mike Dautruche died in Brooklyn last week. My former teacher Jean Clercite Sémervil, our friend left like a flash towards the eternal East They are all victims of the new coronavirus, COVID-19. It's criminal That our brothers and sisters who were in good health, in good shape A couple of months ago, are now either dead, sick in hospital or in a coma Great God, what should we do about this invisible demon, this pandemic? We are all in quarantine, in isolation and very afraid of losing our own lives This is tormenting; our friends are dying. The numbers are growing every day This virus is contagious and deadly beyond belief. Many things are beyond us We are in pain. We are losing our friends, our loved ones almost every day We are in confinement, bored and depressed. There's trouble in paradise I wrote this poem to offer my heartfelt condolences to all my grieving friends While paying tribute to our imprisoned and isolated friends in a coffin. P.S. My sincere condolences to the families: Oristel, Cadet, Anselme, Sémervil, Lévèque, St. Jean, Sémerzier, Moïse, Dautruche, Germain, and to our brothers, sisters and friends from Anse d'Hainault, Haïti and everywhere throughout our world.
