These days fake is en vogue Fake friend, fake love, fake hug Fake diamond ring, fake crystals Fake gold, fake silver, fake metals Fake lights, fake glitters Fake looks, fake flowers These days fake is à la mode Precious metals are like mud It's hard to distinguish a fake From the real thing, like a fake smile Like a fake kiss around the lake These days, it is hard to find great style Sheer elegance in today's society It is a shame, it is a pity There is too much faking around It would be nice to lose a pound On a daily basis.
