Happiness is a state of mind
It is a state of being genuinely kind
To yourself and to others
It is when there are no quarrels
No worries and no pain
And everything is absolutely sane.
It is where money does not matter
You are surrounded with great friends
And with family members who utter
Nice and positive words. Nice bands
Are playing great music and only you
Can hear and see the beauty of the dew
That surrounds the landscape and the meadows
Where tomorrow will come with afternoon rainbows.
Happiness is feeling good all over
Money really does not matter
Money cannot buy happiness
But can at a flash buy convenience and sadness.
