The children see colors
Appreciate all types
And draw rainbows
The adults see colors
Criticize the types
And turn them into arrows
The children are sincere and pure
And the adults are confused and unsure
Of themselves; they guess
Most the time, they are wrong
God, please correct that mess
Before I write a song
About my experience with both groups
The adults enjoy all types of soups
At times, the children seem to know better
Because they are fairer, simpler, and less bitter.
