So much of Modern Medicine
is practiced with a hidden grin.
The patient is convinced of need
and feeds the doctor's selfish greed.
Pursuing false priorities
they deal in hysterectomies,
high tech and screening are the rule,
just leave some urine, blood and stool.
Procedures without rhyme or reason
change only slightly with the season;
as in a church, faith is widespread
you must remit before you're dead.
Wherelse in High Society
will you find such dishonesty?
