You know that
we may feel strongly
the urge to thank
the other but there is
no need, really.
We appreciate,
we cherish and
we treasure
each other....
Perhaps this need
to say thank you
for something
the other has done
or is doing originates
from a feeling of
'goes-without-saying-considerateness'
that is just there.
And that, my love,
is a kind of love that can lift
spirits to infinity
it makes the gloomiest day
into a celebration of life
and happiness.
No one can really have
all the answers
on these things nor
do we need to, I think.
