Is called a new name - Common Core,
Full of confusing teach hybrids,
'Sposed to improve overall score.
Many teachers and parents gripe
That the new stuff is crap mix
Of flawed theoretical hype
From iv'ry towered politics.
Of course it's math - dollars and cents.
Just read the writing on the wall.
The kids are of no consequence.
It's give the shaft called Core to all.
Reading, writing, 'rithmetic come
To a Common Core = equals dumb.
