They walk the frozen wastes together the ice queen Kaila with her white hair and gown striding tall carrying her crystal staff in her right hand and her snow bear companion Maul one of the last of his kind alive Their hearts are heavy and sad as Maul has not long left in the world Kaila's powers are all that is keeping him from the dark embrace of death As the last of the four suns finally rises over the glacial mountains Maul feels energised once more he wants to thank his friend for being with him but can never speak the words he wants to say As long as they will remain friends Kaila will keep him alive doing whatever she can to ensure he lives until she learns how to fully heal him
