The demigod Pan takes his evening nap in a peaceful forest in Autumn leaning up against a tree his snores frightening all the creatures away The fur on his upper goat legs matches the colour of the falling leaves clashing with his purple loin cloth his long hair only disturbed by his horns and ears his untidy beard reaches down to his arms folded loosely over his bare chest His pipes are propped up on a rock on his right alongside his small green shoulder bag decorated with silver moon and stars containing bottle of tears from poor Syrinx before her transformation in to reeds As night sets in he will rise and travel to the nearest city in disguise invading dreams to spread fear and nightmares moving on as they spread like a plague
