As I Grew Older

When I was the lost child.
Awakened from the cold.
I have heard,
your thoughts of me,
one night when you said.
The moonlight,
spoke of youth and
toys that I for you gave up.
Lilly said of Emily.
That Lilly spoke of roses to.
And where her bed,
of violets lay.
But none the sun would sway.
And when I know how,
roses grow.
Is there the sun was freed.
To grow up when it's day.
