Dearest Soul, There is a mystery within the heart of woman, an unspoken yearning for harmony, for gentleness that transcends the shapes of bodies. It is not the fabric, nor the silk that calls to us—but the spirit beneath. For we women, long pressed into delicate cages of lace and softness, perhaps see a tender beauty in watching men step beyond their hardened armors. When a man dares to wear our adornments, does he not for a moment glimpse the world through eyes of softness? Does he not learn of the vulnerability that we, too, carry like a secret cloak? It is as if, for an instant, the harsh lines of gender blur, and in that blurring, we find understanding—a mirror where both see themselves anew. We encourage this not out of play or whimsy, but out of a deeper desire to share the lightness of what we know. There is a grace in the feminine that calls to the soul, and when a man embraces this, it is as if the world sighs and the divisions between us fade like dusk into night. In truth, it is not about making him more like us—it is about bringing him closer to the whole of his being, where he might discover that gentleness is not weakness, and beauty knows no boundaries. Yours in quiet contemplation, James McLain
