Gratitude

Some of U.S.
expire before some other's.
Even I now, have a hard time remembering
how old I am,
born in nineteen fifty eight.
Elvis Presley,
Humphrey Bogart was my favorite.
Emily Dickinson and Abraham Lincoln
they all died before, becoming close
to old age.
Poor I am not richer as I age.
To know what makes U.S. richer as we age.
I am grateful to have lasted through
a life where I have loved, I'm now alone.
Nothing do we know when very young,
there's no market for the old and what they know.
I picked and chose with whom to have a child
for brain's and beauty are to some to never have.
Growing up a Catholic child and through out life
the devil knew the details of that child.
I am full of gratitude now because I know, that there's
is nothing after death so I lead my life,
as though there's someone watching me as I watched you.
