I Can Still Dream

Dreams existed for me even before blindness, But to see them, I relied on your sight and kindness. Born sightless, I'm often asked what I see, Yet my dreams are full of sound and imagery. In my sleeping mind, I'm still able to perceive The world around me, as if I can see. Colors, sounds, tastes, and touches merge In my dreams, where all senses converge. There's one special dream that I cherish and keep, Of when I met my wife, a memory that's deep. Though I cannot see her with my eyes, In my dream, I behold her beauty that never dies.
