🌀 The Aftermath Of Hurricane Milton 🌀

Milton came, like they all do, spinning, tearing, cracking the bones of the earth— left us with broken streets and broken people. the homeless, scattered like leaves, found no shelter but death— who takes ‘em in like an old friend. store owners hiked prices, greed spreading faster than the floodwaters, their hands dirty, counting bills while children cry for milk. more police, always more, walking like gods through the wreckage, flashing badges, but what good is a badge when the storm's already won? the city's down on its knees and we're just the survivors left to sweep the bones away.
