Tu Fu A Map

Mine is a garden of pine
below the tower
across the clear winding river
Isolated each is
laying upon the bed of needles
amber pearls rest against
the cave
under the full moon
where the dragon sleeps
with emerald eyes
one winks.
Because,
Tu Fu has drawn a map
that shows the way
between the valley of the floor
up to the moon.
