Bluebells In The Breeze

Those childhood days,
Like a never ending daisy chain,
Sparkling and gay,
Long hot summers,
When we ran and played,
Through rows of terraced houses,
Oh how I loved those days.
That wonderful place,
Where we sat amongst the trees,
Surrounded by bluebells blowing in the breeze,
Making wishes,
Having fun,
Life was like a fairytale,
Beneath the summer sun.
And I would not swap my childhood,
For it truly was the best,
Those childhood days,
In mind those good times rest.
