Sometimes, we are visited by forgotten memories
Out of the blue,
Appearing in the mind.
Forgotten days,
Forgotten faces,
Left in the past,
Way far behind.
We remember times,
Of being young on golden sands,
I remember you,
When we walked together
Hand in hand.
And sometimes we dream,
Of going back again,
Walking through the sunshine,
Building dens,
Picking flowers,
In the summer breeze,
Dreaming for those long lost days,
If only time could freeze.
