In an uncertain world,
Where is the peace we yearn for?
Why are hopes and dreams shattered?
Lives in utter turmoil,
Thoughts of a better future, tattered and torn.
A longing to feel safe in our homes.
What does our future hold?
Life is a living, breathing thing,
So much happiness it could bring,
If only peace could devour the meanest of hearts,
To bring us together.
Love is the answer,
If only each and every one of us,
were willing, to play their part.
