In Thoughts So Deep

I'm going back to days gone by, And so i sit and close my eyes, The music that we used to play, Is softly playing this fine day. I'm lost in moments of the past, I loved those days, i'm drifting back in thoughts so deep to summer days, When we would run the streets and play amongst the trees in woods and fields, The pleasant sound of humming bees amongst the bluebells fresh with dew, I'm lost in moments spent with you. I want to stay right here forever, Enjoy this moment, when we were together. It's time to put my thoughts on hold, I'll come back to these days of old, Another day, another time As music plays, in memories fine. Jayne Louise Davies
