Music With You

I kick off my shoes as the sweet music plays, Then I shut off my thoughts to the rest of the day. I close my eyes to drift into the past, It's been a tough day, But I'm with you at last, For here in my memories I'm never alone, I've enough for a lifetime, Although you are gone, I can take a long walk down memory lane, It's that special place where I see you again. On a beach, On a mountain, In my mind we are young, They were good times with you, We had so much fun. As the music goes on, The memories remain, One day I hope, We'll meet once again.
