My Special Days

Altın Yaprak
Golden sand on beaches past,
Ice cream cones,
I wished would last,
Pretty frocks,
Trimmed with lace,
Mothers smile
Her lovely face,
Looking down now,
From above.
No one, could ever,
Replace her love.
Playing hopscotch in the street,
On chalked out squares,
Beneath our feet,
Sounds of laughter,
Filled the air,
There's nothing else,
That can compare.
Woodland walks,
Beneath blue skies,
With dad,
The apple of my eye,
Walking home from school each day,
Picking flowers on the way.
Childhood days,
That stay with me,
In my memories,
They'll always be.
