An evening of sunshine
A pure delight
The birds have returned
To their nests for the night.
The garden is silent
A breeze moves the flowers
The best time of day
I could sit here for hours.
The red buds are waiting
To bloom into beauty
On the fine rhododendron
So glorious before me.
The end of my day
Is drawing much closer
Tomorrow will come, to again
Make the most of.
