Poetry is not just about being the best,
Standing out above the rest.
Poetry is who you are,
A passion to express your thoughts.
Those feelings you can't talk about,
But somehow by writing a poem,
It's such a relief,
to release your emotions.
Poetry is that special place,
Where all of your worries can be erased.
For expression is the best way,
It calms the soul,
Soothes the heart.
Poetry my friend,
You help me through each day.
