The Morning Dew

There was a lovely woodland path, Where I once walked with you, It took us to the mountain top, We strolled through morning dew, And on our way the sun it shone, Down on the valley below, And even though that time's now gone, I still remember it's glow. The hours passed, We reached it at last, That place we loved to sit, Right there on the mountain high, I truly remember it, For that was the place I remember so well, That was my time with you, I'll always remember those happy days, They'll be with me a lifetime through.
