There are two bequests we can give our children...a wise woman once said...one is roots...the other wings.
Good advice for all of us...be we paupers...queens...or kings.
Roots of love and happiness...knowing full well...that...one day
The wings we have provided...will help them fly away.
But if the roots are strong...no matter where they roam...
Those same wings on which they soared away...will help...to fly them home.
