Dead Rock Star

I was walking at the flea market, When I saw him walk my way. I thought he had kicked the bucket, And I believed it till today. There he was just strutting by, Ducktail waving in the breeze. With his nose held way up high, Just as stuck up as you please. His hips were swiveling side to side, And he did look good in those black jeans. Behind dark shades he tried to hide, The whole picture was, well, obscene. 'Johnny thats Elvis stop him now', Somebody was screaming at me. I stood dumb founded I did'nt know how, Then Elvis got scared and tried to flee. Then five women tackled him down, And tried to tear away his threads. But he beat them off and ran for town, turning way too many heads. I never will forget the day, Elvis came to my home town. They say he's dead, but there ain't no way, I know, i've seen him around. 7/11/10 Ochoa's Flea Market Alton Texas
