Home Again

They say you can't go home again, But i'm sure gonna try. But i'm not gonna take a train, And i'm sure as hell not going to fly. I've packed all of my clothes, And i've got my guitar. And now it's time to hit the road, My guide will be the stars. Uncertainty is in my mind, As I head back towards my home. Uncertainty of what i'll find, I've been away so long. To see the Texas skies again, Over my valley home. And try to gently ease the pain, I've felt while all alone. I hope I can come home again, Thats been my fondest dream. I would'nt even mind a little rain, If i'm fishing by my stream. God grant that everything goes right, And soon my eyes will see. Rows of orange trees in the morning light, In the Rio Grande Valley. 6/15/10 29 palms ca.
