I send you this poem, so that you'll see my heart,
For you to glance inside my soul.
I've written this poem not as work or art,
And in return I do not require gold.
I just want you to see the things that I see,
When I open my eyes each day.
The clouds in the sky, and the birds in the trees,
As through life I make my way.
Life's not for brooding, in a lonely room,
Get out and breath the air.
Leave behind the stygian gloom,
There is so much you can share.
