So many broken hearts, So much sorrow. Souls wandering, In the wilderness. So much anger, And bitter hate, So many lives, Touched. Not just by death, But by the spectre of, Mutilation. Entire families destroyed, The evil surfaced, One day. And the world, Changed. Two great pillars, Of man's achievements, Obliterated. Thousands killed, Because of a false prophet. Who hid, Like a cowardly dog. And after many long, And anxious years, And a blood soaked Earth. The evil, Was tracked down, To his lair. And a brave soul, With a strong heart, And a stronger arm. Drove the stake, Through the vile, Evil, and wicked heart, Of the monster. And then, They cast him into, The sea. There the waves, Took him, With repugnance, To the bottom of the sea. The harbinger of evil, Is now gone. But evil remains. But the head of the Medusa, Has been cut off. But we must remain wary. We must be vigilant, Lest another titan, Rises out of the mists 5/6/11 Alton Texas
