Exploding Samsung Products

This is not a poem. This is a consumer alert. You may have heard of Samsung Galaxy S7 cell phones overheating and catching fire. Same with certain Samsung tablets. You may have heard of Samsung washing machines exploding. Well, I have a new one for you. My wife and I returned to our house today after being gone for a couple of hours, and the glass front of our new Samsung kitchen range was all cracked. It was mostly still intact; just one small piece had fallen on the floor. Since the picture was taken, a big chunk has fallen out of the middle. The stove was not left turned on. It was cold. The oven has not been used since last week, when we cooked a pizza. The stovetop was used this morning to cook some eggs and warm up some leftover Thanksgiving ham. It was turned off afterwards and had not been on for hours. I called Home Depot, where I bought the stove. They only cover it for 30 days and I bought it in August, so they gave me the Samsung number to call. What a joke! I tried and tried to talk to a real person but could not. Their automated system would say 'press 1' and I would press 1 and then they would say 'I didn't hear you. Please try again.' Maybe it would have worked if I were using a real landline phone like I used to have, but all I have is this Samsung Galaxy 6.
