When I told my cardiologist
that whenever I get a nosebleed
I skip a dose of my
blood thinner medication,
he wrote it down!
I saw what he wrote:
'nosebleed, skip a dose'
and I thought
Now he is going to tell
other patients to do
what I have been doing!
It seems that a doctor
with who-knows-how-many
years of schooling
can still learn something
from an old fogy
with eighty-three years
of life behind him.
