You Disappeared

An amazing woman, there is no doubt; More accolades than many men have earned. Even though there were things you did without, Lots were the deeds you did and things you learned. I never met you but I wished I could; All memories and tales of you are good. Each time I gaze up in the azure skies And see a a silver vessel gliding by, Right then I try to stifle all my sighs, Hold in my tears and struggle not to cry. All I can do is wonder, why, o why? Reason tells me that we shall never meet, Though if we did, for me, oh what a treat!
