From one experience to the next
Has no one to journey on it,
To know what's ahead.
This crooked path,
With rocks upon it scattered.
To pick up and toss about...
Seems easier to do,
When learning to prepare...
For obstacles.
And no one there to soothe,
Or remove to smooth...
The twisting turns of life.
