Where have the dreamers gone?
With their wishes envisioned.
And hopes to linger on.
Where are they,
With positive dispositions?
Replaced, it seems...
By opposition and suspicions.
Where are the eyes fixed on stars above?
Or those awaiting rainbows,
After rain has fallen.
To spot their pot of gold.
Where are they,
Seeking the fresh breeze...
Of every Spring to have ever come.
What has been done to those dreamers gone?
Where are those hopes and wishes,
To have been kept to linger on.
