Perhaps, I will survive this
And I will become a better person
As my world would expand to new heights
And I will have audacity to do things
I was afraid of doing
Like asking you out for a Tim's
Going to an art class
Through, I don't think I am ready
But did it anyway,
Perhaps, I could walk to places
In my neighbourhood myself
And stay out in the late afternoon
G-d, I need a haircut for Easter
And new shoes
But I don't think I am ready
With this cold
I'll wait.....'til the pain goes away
