My sister was looking for a certain photograph
For my mother's funeral
She was looking for the one
Of my mother in an evening dress laughing
Even in a photograph, her laugh was infectious
Telling my sister where to look,
A tear came down my cheek,
And I didn't feel it coming
I thought we should wait until her final breath
But my sister, the efficient one, is preparing already
I wish she would wait
For her efficiency is driving me to the brink
