I asked God to show himself to me,
He showed me the sands of the sea.
I was not satisfied and asked again,
This time he showed me a handful of pea.
Displeased as my will was; I asked,
This time he showed me the wing of a bee.
And so it was that I asked again,
This time he showed, but nothing did I see.
