Eye's Folly

Seldom has my heart been weary But today stands contrary As it faces love’s adversary Part of me wants to play the field But in love the heart is ceiled And is shocked at what is revealed That I, am no wiser a man Than Solomon, though I know love’s span Parts of me do not follow the plan My eyes disobey their master And seek to give the end of a blaster A moment of high that ensures disaster We be.
