Happy 17th Love

To hold you in my arms became a dream held within a seed planted in my skin the day your radiance fell into my eyes, and from that very moment I could not deny that you were the one. The days 'til I saw you again, were spent in a daze for I was afraid clarity might erase from memory what must have been a mirage - something light and longing staged- so I kept my eyelids glued; then I saw you, and you were true... and my heart, having been struck twice by your lightning, succumbed, and stopped on a high - until revived by your electric voice, which by way of my wanting ear, shook that my body trembled; Not from fear, but fervor and familiarity.
