I seek it
With all my might
But happiness
Evades me.
Like day and night
Our existence
Cannot be one.
The twists
Within my life
Are like a magnet's poles
That seems to never
Attract joy and happiness.
Burdens are taking over.
I feel like giving up.
But then darkness wins the game
And this I cannot have,
So I'm going to fight and be brave;
Hopefully tomorrow will not be the same.
