Shakespeare was a sailor on the sea
A man who conquered waves with oars
And to those with paper boats like me
His sturdy ship like airplane soars
I imagine he saw the coming waves
As they left the banks of Florida’s coasts
And boldly made the move which saved
Romeo and Juliet from becoming ghosts
With his ship he went to lands of tales
Of gnomes and those with mystic ways
And fought them off when pens and sails
So they say- so the blood-wet paper says,
But alas he met an unforeseen end
The boat buckled and brought great rue
And all saved were the books he penned;
Through them, he lives in me and you.
