for how long will you allow the rain to fall down
on me
when will you begin to see that I am in love

for too long I have held on to this
colourless nothingness
one year and ten months trying to speak to you
is your heart a heart of stone
open that I may come inside

even the birds have stopped singing the song of love
because they feel pity for my heart’s deep suffering
why are you failing to understand! ?
I have seen them coming in and out, taking turns:
