It's hard to see when there's tears in your eyes
And you have to say your final goodbye.
When you know that you have to put them down
And they'll no longer be around.
You recall their joys and their happy days when
They would run and play.
That eternal love in their eyes and never wanting
To leave your side.
That inner clock that tells them you're on your way
And at the door they do stay.
Then they know when they're at deaths door
And you can't do any more.
You see their forgiveness in their eyes
As they say their last gooddbye.
