Students Question

Working as a school crossing guard I had a Student ask me;why of things of beauty do you write When all people want to do is argue, fuss and fight! People are not going to change, when everything Around them stays the same! People see others struggling and they don't care What they have they are not willing to share. When all someone may need - is a little hope on which to feed. A piece of bread, a smile, a hello is something that they don't know. Not everyone is the same that can receive success, wealth and fame! You don't know what the poor go through until it happens to you! All this that was said I know this to be true - there is beauty and ugliness too. Yet after each world known disaster comes a calm and peace soon after People come together when ugliness raises it s head and stomp On it until it's dead. This is the beauties of which I write - when GOD touches us And gives us sight. © L. RAMS 030420
