Coleopteran Lesson

Just this morning saw a beetle charging at a doberman I think the dog had managed to step on the insect causing the coleopteran charge half a league, half... when I thought surely the small six-legged aggressor would come to his senses before I then thought the exoskeleton might account for the assault a covering that perhaps maybe gives the one with it a sense of invincibility a feeling of superman or an indestructible tank. There's nothing that pierces the armour to get to the brain. Without literacy how can one so small find out about the Titanic? With us humans the shell is on the inside-- hopefully most of the time-- I suspect by design to prevent animosity from overwhelming our sense of preservation of self But I'm sure some come to think they have an evolved one a permanent one at least
